The Co@st Symposium offered an overview on international conventions and relevant bodies dealing with coastal zones. The integration between nature and culture, methodological process to promote environmental conservation, and alternatives for a more sustainable future have been addressed, with the view to preserving world coastlines and their landscapes, beauty, cultures, ecosystems and services.
